Azerbaijan plans to provoke new military clashes on Armenian-Azerbaijani border – Nikol Pashinyan
The developments of the past year created a new reality in the region, it is necessary to note that the usage of force and mass atrocities cannot solve the Karabakh conflict the settlement of which is possible only through negotiations in the sidelines of the only format having international mandate – OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, Armenia’s acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a joint press statement with the Council of Europe president Charles Michel.
"I have several times publicly stressed that Armenia is ready to resume the peaceful negotiations, but Azerbaijan did not respond and according to non-official information Azerbaijan is planning to provoke new military clashes in Artsakh and on Armenian-Azerbaijani border the expression of which we see today in Nakhijevan section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," Pashinyan stated.
He noted that the incidents provoked by Azerbaijan do not allow start the demarcation and delimitation works of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
