Statements of Armenia's military-political leadership on created situation incomplete, lack any content - expert

Head of Henaket think-tank Tigran Abrahamyan referred in a Facebook post to the statement made by Armenia’s Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that according to the information he has Azerbaijan is going to provoke new clashes in the direction of Armenia and Artsakh.

"In parallel to it Armenia's Ministry of Defense with its daily statements reports about escalating situation in the Yeraskh section of the border. Azerbaijan has obviously toughened its position and presented to Armenia new agenda of territorial concessions," Abrahamyan wrote.

He said the influential players of the region are following the developments in the status of observer.

"The uncertainties regarding the recent incidents are still a lot, I have concerns that all this fits in the logic of implementation of arrangements reached on November 9. Simply, a part of this deal supposes agreed actions in concrete section of the borderline," Abrahamyan wrote, adding that the statements of the military-political leadership on the created situation, the causes and consequences lack any content, are incomplete which deepen the concerns over the created situation.
