Reforms in the army to be implemented rapidly – first deputy defense minister
Head of Armenia's PM's staff Arayik Harutyunyan introduced to the staff of the Ministry of Defense and the highest officer staff of the Armed Forces the newly appointed first deputy minister Arshak Karapetyan.
Harutyunyan thanked former minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan for the carried out work.
In his turn, the ex-minister thanked the staff and the officers for the joint work and emphasized the importance of the reforms being carried out in the sector. He stressed the need to bring them to the end for having battle-worthy army in the region.
Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated Karapetyan on assuming the post, attaching significance to the implementation of the reforms launched in the army and solution of the post-war issues.
The newly appointed first deputy minister thanked for the trust, noting that everything will be done for having strong army and protected borders.
"The reforms will be [implemented] quite rapidly," the first deputy minister said.
