Armenian Air-Defense forces shoot down Azerbaijan's "Aerostar" UAV
The Air Defense subdivisions of the Armed Forces of Armenia have shot down "Aerostar" model UAV of the Azerbaijani armed forces which tried to infiltrate into Armenia's airspace.
The debris of the UAV fell 3,5 km north from Vanevan village of Armenia's Gegharkunik province.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia urged mass media and social network users not to disseminate unclarified, distorted information raising panic among the population and be guided exclusively by the information provided by the ministry.
It has been reported earlier that from 11 p.m. July 29 the Azerbaijani UAVs attempted to infiltrate into Armenia's airspace. The subdivisions of the Air Defense forces prevented all the attempts.
"The Armed Forces of Armenia fully implement their tasks," Armenia's MOD said in the statement.
