Pashinyan ordered to punish the law enforcement officers who have failed the search warrant of Minasyan
The decision of the Interpol's commission on terminating the notice for Mikayel Minasyan, former ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See and son-in-law of the third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, caused intense passions among the leadership of the Armenian government and the law enforcement agencies.
According to Aysor.am's sources, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the meeting with the leaders of the law enforcement agencies instructed to prosecute all the law enforcement officers who had failed the search warrant against one of his main political opponents.
In order to alleviate Pashinyan's anger, the RA Prosecutor General and the President of the State Revenue Committee have decided to make scapegoats from the several employees of the NCB Interpol of the Armenian Police and the investigators investigating the criminal proceedings of Minasyan. As a result, criminal proceedings have been initiated in the Anticorruption committee on the basis of the official negligence which caused the termination of the Interpol notice on Minasyan.
