“Viva University”: self-development and specialization platform for students․ About 300 graduates in 9 years
Theoretical and practical knowledge, necessary skills, starting inception for self-development: another phase of the educational program “Viva University” is announced. The willingness of Viva-MTS to share its years of experience is a big contribution in enhancing employee-employer relations. “Viva University” program implemented since 2015, is an important platform for professional orientation of university students. It is open not only for students from the capital, but also for those from the regions, which is important for enhancing the development of labor market capacity in the regions.
Over nine years, more than three hundred graduates have acquired theoretical, practical knowledge, necessary skills and a starting inception for further development. 45 talented individuals in the fields of sales and customer service, and more recently, IT, received graduation certificates, which is to show their experience and enhance their employability: 13 of the best participants have joined Viva-MTS. Another group of forty-five students will first undergo theoretical and then practical trainings, including cultivating customer communication skills and delivering courteous service at the service centers of their choice or near their residence.
“The ability to learn continuously, being responsible, consistent, result-oriented, being a team player, being able to respect others and strive for a constructive cooperation are as important as theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work anywhere and be a successful professional. This educational program is an opportunity to master those skills. You will see how the employees of different departments at Viva-MTS work with each other and communicate as a team on a daily basis. You will be doing an exciting job – communicate with customers, present them offers effectively and provide high-quality service. Strive for the best result. By the way, the best 13 of our last year’s graduates have joined Viva-MTS. I wish you all the best of luck,” Viva-MTS General Director Armen Avetisian said.
The two-month courses of the educational program “Viva University” in the capital and regions are implemented owing to cooperation between the Human Resources and Customer Service Departments of Viva-MTS.
