Making changes in Constitution not to speed up conduction of snap elections – Armen Rustamyan
All the ideas voiced in the Republic square should be discussed in a proper way, head of the ARF-D faction Armen Rustamyan said, referring to the speech of the Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“The voiced issues should be referred to separately, but there are courts, state bodies. To ignore them in one day is not a right way,” he said, adding though that after Prime Minister’s meeting with the NA Chairman his optimism grew. “Concrete response to the key issues has been received and if to continue with such logic we are too ready for discussions and bring our contribution as well,” Rustamyan said.
He stressed that there is one way for snap parliamentary elections that is to twice fail to elect prime minister.
“I do not think that the second way – Constitutional amendments – will speed up the process,” the head of the ARF-D faction said.
