We have issue of reaching dignified peace: Andranik Kocharyan
Armenia has always been for exclusively peaceful solution of Karabakh conflict, chairman o NA’s Foreign Relations Standing Committee Ruben Rubinyan told the reporters today, referring to the statement of Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan, who paraphrased “territories for peace” formula into “new war, new territories.”
“We have never wanted and still do not want war, our position and statements have always been addressed to peace,” he said.
Chairman of NA’s Defense, Security Affairs Standing Committee Andranik Kocharyan stated that Armenia reached the signing of ceasefire treaty by imposing peace.
“Peace concept has always been our military doctrine. Today we have no additional military issue to solve. We have the issue of reaching dignified peace. If Mr Tonoyan made a statement which may be is not perceived now, I can tell for sure that from the day of creation of our army we solved the issue of peace and today our issue is to make the peace process reach final dignified phase,” Andranik Kocharyan stated.
