If war breaks Armenia must be ready to liberate more territories: Bright Armenia faction head

The April war was a big lesson for our state, Armenian people, head of Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan told the reporters in Yerablur Military Pantheon today while paying tribute to the memory of those killed during the 2016 April four-day war.

“It was a big lesson for us, to do our home assignment good, we have heard, seen calls, statements but when the moment came all the myths ruined. Now we must empower our army, economy which is the back of our army and always be ready for a new war that will bring peace,” Marukyan said, adding that after we are ready for new war, it will be the main guarantee of having peace.

He said works should be undertaken for the peaceful settlement of the conflict.

“The issue has no military solution. But we must be ready. If new war breaks we must liberate more territories. This is what the statement of Armenia’s defense minister was about,” the lawmaker said.
